Amundi's carbon footprint

Amundi reported Total CO2e Emissions - Location-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2020 at 3.7 Kt (-0.07 /-2% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity declined to 1.2 t (-0.1 /-7.7% y-o-y).

Amundi's Scope 3 emissions plummeted to 1.7 Kt (-6.3 /-78.3% y-o-y). The decline accelerated compared to the CAGR of -40.2% since 4Q'18.

The company is committed to achieving net zero for Scope 1 + 2 by 2050, which translates into the estimated reduction of -0.12 Kt per annum over the period of FY2021 - FY2050. This target, however, has not been recognised as science-based (and as aligned with Paris Agreement) by the SBTi.
