Kering's carbon footprint

Kering reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 31 Kt (+5/+20% y-o-y). At the sime time, carbon intensity declined to 1.5 t (-0.2 /-11.8% y-o-y).

Kering's Scope 3 emissions skyrocketed to 271 Kt (+134/+98% y-o-y). There has been no consistent trend in recent years.

The company is committed to achieving net zero for all Scopes by 2030, which translates into the estimated reduction of -34 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2030. This science-based target is aligned with Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
